    The Manager, Litigation Services is a management role for US or UK-trained lawyers that requires an ability to work cross-culturally managing Indian attorneys and serving as a key liaison with US and UK law firms and in-house corporate legal departments. As a successful candidate, you will have more than five years of relevant experience and a sense of adventure, as you will be based in QuisLex’s offices in India for the next two years.

    Responsibilities

    • Substantively supervise and manage case teams throughout project duration. Monitor team productivity and quality, and escalate issues as they arise.
    • Manage and advise case teams throughout project to ensure sound technology, legal project management and staffing decisions.
    • Liaise with client, case teams and litigation support vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Consult with, and advise attorneys, staff, and case team personnel in an effort to manage the procurement of technical solutions for document review and discovery projects.
    • Implement document management processes and train case teams to ensure proper implementation of processes.

    Qualifications

    • Law degree from a US, UK or Irish university required, admitted to practice law in the US or the UK strongly preferred.
    • Large firm (Am Law 20, Magic Circle) litigation experience strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing large-scale document review and production projects, including implementation and training of legal staff on document review software and document management processes.
    • Experience with large projects consisting of dozens of team members, and hundreds of gigabytes of data.
    • Thorough understanding of discovery process, and the review and related aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model in particular.
    • Experience in one or more quality control methodologies desired.
    • Proficiency using one or more eDiscovery software platforms.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-cultural teams.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Foreign language experience is a plus.
    • Must be willing to relocate to India for a two-year minimum commitment.
